Individual therapy
in Dehradun & online

A private space of your own, every week or two, with a psychologist who listens closely and helps you make sense of what you’re carrying.

WHO IT’S FORYou don’t need
a crisis to come.

A space that is
only about you.

Some weeks feel heavy for reasons that are hard to explain to anyone else.

Individual therapy is one-to-one time with Srishti, a psychologist, to slow down and look at what’s been happening: your moods, your relationships, the expectations you live with at home and at work, and the patterns that keep repeating. You bring what feels important; we work out together what would help.

Sessions draw on evidence-informed approaches and are shaped around you rather than a fixed script. Some people come for a few sessions around a specific decision; others prefer steadier support over months.

People often come for

  • Low mood, emptiness or losing interest in things
  • Self-worth, perfectionism and harsh self-criticism
  • Family pressure, identity and expectations
  • Loneliness, change or feeling stuck
  • Difficulty naming or expressing feelings
  • Wanting to understand yourself better

HOW SESSIONS WORK

Steady, private,
at your pace.

A first conversation.

We talk about what brings you here and what you’d like to be different. You share only what you’re ready to.

A shared direction.

Together we agree what to focus on and how often to meet, usually weekly or fortnightly, around 50 minutes.

Regular check-ins.

We review what’s helping and adjust. If another kind of support would serve you better, I’ll say so and help you find it.

QUESTIONS

Things people
often ask.

How do I know if I need therapy?

There’s no threshold to meet. If something has been on your mind for a while, or you’d simply like a space to think clearly, that’s reason enough to begin.

Is what I say kept confidential?

Yes. Nothing is shared with family or employers without your consent, apart from the legal and safety limits explained in your first session.

Do you offer sessions in Dehradun and online?

Both. In person at the practice in Ballupur, Dehradun, or online by private video call from anywhere in India.

Is this the same as seeing a psychiatrist?

No. This is talk therapy; I don’t prescribe medication. If medical support might help, I’ll guide you to a psychiatrist.

Set some of it down.
We can begin here.

One conversation, at your pace. Ask about fees, timings or fit before you commit to anything.
